For this terms uni project we have had to look at a film to gain inspiration from. The film I have chosen is High Society, with Grace Kelly in. Last friday before we broke up I did a toile of what my kite was going to be like using a mini mannequin. I thought I would post it on my blog, because I just loved working with the little mannequin. It was a much quicker way to produce a toile. I have decided to do a big sticky out skirt like the skirts Grace kelly wore. But I have decided to make mine shorter to make it more modern. Below are photos of my mini toile. I have used about 6 layers I think to create the fullness.
